Lydia has been a psychology enthusiast since her undergraduate years at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette (ULL). Lydia received a bachelor’s degree from ULL and a Master’s Degree in Applied Developmental Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She has been working in therapy centers consistently for the last 4 years. After earning her Master's Degree, Lydia worked at a therapy center for children with developmental disabilities, in Scott, Louisiana. There, she provided therapy services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Lydia moved to New Orleans with the intention of broadening her work experiences and expanding her opportunities. Prior to joining The Behavior Guru, Lydia was a lead behavior technician at Gulf South Autism Center (GSAC) at the lakefront in New Orleans. During her time at GSAC, Lydia was responsible for providing ABA intervention services to clients and aiding in the training of new behavior technicians.
